Configuring the Wait Room Display Static List Length

The wait room display contains a total of five rows.  This article will help you to configure how many of the rows remain static (stationary).  The remainder of the rows will be used to dynamically rotate through the remaining patients.  If you have configured the static list to show three lines, and you have 11 patients in the queue, the first three patients names will be shown in the first three rows, then patients 4 and 5 are shown in the last two rows, then 6 and 7...  then 8 and 9...   and then 10 and 11.  Once the last patient(s) has been shown, the cycle starts again by showing patients 4 and 5.

If the value is configured to '0', there are no static rows and the entire queue is rotated through, five lines at a time.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Since there are only five rows possible, there cannot be more than four static rows.  Configuring the static rows to any value greater than '4' will cause the wait room screen to display an error.

In the new settings page:

Advanced Settings > Wait Room Screen > Universal Settings > • Static List Length

In the traditional settings page:

Alerts and Displays > • Wait Room Static Patients Display

In Team Admin:

• Static List Length


The default setting is '3' lines.
