Technical Level: Easy
By default, the nurse screen is configured to show three patients in the callback list (NOTE: these three patients may or may not yet be marked as ready. The list shows the first three patients in order of expected callback time regardless of their ready status.).
You can configure the nurse screen to show a different number of queued patients if you wish. The number of visible rows can be configured in the following location:
Advanced Settings > Nurse Screen - Back Office > Nurse Screen Settings > Callback List > • Callback List Size
Once you have modified the setting, be sure and scroll down and click the green Save Changes button to preserve your changes.
Some clinics have elected to use a desktop monitor and turn the monitor to present a page view (as opposed to a landscape view) so that more rows, both in the callback list and the discharge list, can be shown on the nurse screen. If you do so, you may need to change your display settings so that the page is in page or portrait mode. This may reduce slightly the length of the horizontal rows in exchange for a greater range in the vertical display space. You should experiment with the settings to achieve the best balance between horizontal row length and vertical row numbers.
