Adding Standard Fields to Walk-In Registration

NOTE:  The following contains settings for online, kiosk, and staff-added registrations.  It is provided here so as to group it with other check-in registration configuration guides.  This same document will also be included in the online registration configurations for ease of use there.

The following are settings that need to be configured regarding check-in registration.  While each of the settings have a corresponding setting in Team Admin, it is far easier to configure the setting in the new settings page.

where 'xxx' is the unique ID number for the clinic.

Advanced Settings > Patient Facing Settings - In Clinic > Check-In Kiosk > Standard Patient Fields

•  Collect Email from online patients    
•  Require Email from online patients    
•  Collect cellphone number from walkin patients
•  Require cellphone number from walkin patients (must enable if using SMS text notification)
•  Collect new/existing patient status (required if clinic is using athena integration)
•  Collect address from walkin patients    
•  Collect and require zipcode for staff?
•  Collect and require zipcode for walkin?
•  Collect Gender from walkin patients


These fields may also be configured on the traditional settings page.

Optional Data Elements > Standard Patient Fields

Email

•  Collect Email from online patients
•  Require Email from online patients  (required if patient is to receive verification or confirmation e-mail)
•  Collect Email from walkin patients
•  Require Email from walkin patients
•  Collect Email from staff-entered patients
•  Require Email from staff-entered patients

Cellphone

•  Ask walkins for cellphone number
•  Require walkin cellphone number
•  Require online cellphone number  (required if using SMS text notification)

New Patient

•  Collect new/existing patient status  (required if clinic is using athena integration)
•  Show new/existing patient status on patient queue

Address  (address is rarely used, but zip code may be desired by marketing to target ad campaigns)

•  Collect address from online patients
•  Collect address from walkin patients
•  Collect and require zipcode for staff
•  Collect and require zipcode for walkin
•  Collect and require zipcode for online

Gender

•  Collect Gender from online patients
•  Collect Gender from walkin patients

Registration Form

•  Show new/existing status on Registration Form
